NOTIFICATION IN TERMS OF SECTION 122(3) OF THE COMPANIES ACT AND SECTION
3.83(b) OF THE JSE LISTINGS REQUIREMENTS


In accordance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008 (“the Act”), and
section 3.83(b) of the JSE Listings Requirements, holders of ordinary shares in the Company
are advised that:

Initially Steinhoff Topco B.V. (“Steinhoff Topco”) acquired ordinary shares in the Company,
such that its beneficial interests in the Company amounted to 100% of the total number of
ordinary shares in issue.

Subsequently, Steinhoff RSA Holdco Limited (“RSA Holdco”) acquired ordinary shares in the
Company from Steinhoff Topco, such that its beneficial interests in the Company now amounts
to 100% of the total number of ordinary shares in issue.

The Company hereby confirms that it has received the required notices from Steinhoff Topco
and RSA Holdco in terms of section 122(1)(a) of the Act. As required in terms of section
122(3)(a) of the Act, the Company will file the required notices with the Takeover Regulation
Panel.

The board of the Company accepts responsibility for the information contained in this
announcement and confirms that, to the best of its knowledge and belief, does not omit
anything likely to affect the importance of such information included.
