NO CHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT AND NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING                     
Shareholders are advised that the annual financial statements for the year      
ended 30 June 2006 will be posted to shareholders on 3 November 2006, and       
contain no modifications to the reviewed preliminary results published on SENS  
on 14 September 2006.  The annual financial statements will also be available   
online on the Spur website (www.spur.co.za) from 10 November 2006.              
The annual financial statements were audited by Spur"s auditors, KPMG Inc.      
Their unqualified audit report is available for inspection at the company"s     
registered office, 1 Waterford Mews, Century City Boulevard, Century City,      
Cape Town.                                                                      
Notice is hereby given that the annual general meeting of shareholders will     
take place at 11h00 on Friday, 8 December 2006 at the head office of the        
company, 2 Edison Way, Century Gate Business Park, Century City, Cape Town, to  
transact business as stated in the notice of the annual general meeting         
forming part of the annual financial statements.
