NO CHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT AND NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING                     
Shareholders are advised that the annual financial statements for the year ended
30 June 2005 will be posted to shareholders on or about 4 November 2005, and    
contain no modifications to the reviewed preliminary results published on SENS  
on 15 September 2005.  The annual financial statements will also be available   
online on the Spur website (www.spur.co.za) on 9 November 2005.                 
The annual financial statements were audited by Spur"s auditors, KPMG Inc. Their
report is available for inspection at the company"s registered office.          
Notice is hereby given that the annual general meeting of shareholders will take
place at 11h00 on Friday, 2 December 2005 at the head office of the company, 57 
Selkirk Street, Woodstock, Cape Town, to transact business as stated in the     
notice of the annual general meeting forming part of the annual financial       
statements.
