  ALLOCATION OF SHARES TO DIRECTORS                                               
  Spur Investment Services (Proprietary) Limited ("SIS") is an investment holding 
  company, which was formed for the purpose of enhancing director and employee    
  participation in the equity of Spur. SIS currently holds 13 849 518 Spur shares,
  the average holding cost of which is approximately 89.45 cents per share.       
  On 1 September 2001 SIS allocated to certain Spur directors, on a conditional   
  basis, a number of unallocated Spur shares of SIS.  Such condition has been     
  fulfilled and accordingly the undermentioned directors of Spur are duly entitled
  to the following shares:
