INCREASE IN DIRECTORS' SHAREHOLDINGS
In terms of the circular to shareholders issued on 1 November 1999 and the
specific issue of shares for cash approved by shareholders on 24 November
1999, 6 758 299 compulsorily convertible debentures were converted into
ordinary shares at an issue price of R1,6868 and subsequently listed on the
JSE on 8 October 2001.  Certain of these new shares were allotted to
