Change to the Board of Directors

In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, Spur
Corporation wishes to make the following announcement regarding a change to the Board:

Mr Alan Edward Keet, a Non-Executive Director and Board representative for Grand Parade
Investments Limited (“GPI”), has resigned as Director of the Company with effect from 1 April
2017 following his resignation from GPI. Mr Keet was appointed to the Board pursuant to a
broad-based black economic empowerment transaction concluded with GPI in 2014 which
resulted in GPI acquiring 10% of the Company’s ordinary shares in issue.

Shareholders are advised that the appointment of Mr Keet’s successor, who will represent
GPI on the Board, will be advised in due course.

The Board thanks Mr Keet for his invaluable contribution to the Company and wishes him well
in his future engagements.
