At the general meeting of Spur shareholders held on Tuesday, 3 April 2001 Spur
shareholders unanimously passed the ordinary resolution necessary to approve a
reduction of share capital by means of a capital distribution, in lieu of
dividends to shareholders of R8 178 708, representing 9 cents per share.
Last day to register
Spur shareholders are reminded that the last day to register to participate in
the cash distribution is the close of business on Friday, 6 April 2001.
