STATEMENT ON INCORRECT ANNOUNCEMENT BY BLOOMBERG

Implats wishes to notify shareholders that the Company did not issue a statement or an
announcement regarding Company earnings contrary to the headline by Bloomberg on Friday, 6
November 2015 at 15:00 which read “Impala Platinum sees lower EPS”. We have established that
this was an editorial error on the part of Bloomberg and that they have since removed the headlines.
