RESIGNATION OF A DIRECTOR

In accordance with paragraph 3.59(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, Implats announces
the resignation of Mr Brett Nagle as a non-executive director of the board of directors of Implats
(“the Board”) with immediate effect. The Board expresses its appreciation to Mr Nagle for his
contribution during his tenure and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
