| MTN announces changes in directorate

Mr P L Zim has resigned as an executive director of MTN with effect from 30 Sep 03. Lazarus Zim joined MTN in Jul 01 and is currently Managing Director: MTN International, responsible for the supervision of the company's operations outside of South Africa. Group CEO, P F Nhleko, will assume direct responsibility for the supervision and development of the international operations. Lazarus Zim will be joining the Anglo American Corporation of South Africa as Deputy CEO with effect from 1 Oct 03.
