| MTN conditions precedent to sale not fulfilled

MTN has been informed by Newshelf 664 Ltd, that certain conditions precedent to the purchase of 18.7% in the shareholding in the group has not yet been fulfilled. The date for fulfillment of such conditions precedent has been extended. Shareholders are accordingly advised to continue to exercise caution when dealing in their MTN Group shares until the company announces that it has been advised that the conditions precedent to the sale have been fulfilled.
