M-Cell subsidiary buys stake in Leaf Wireless

MTN SA has bought 36% of its technology and content partner Leaf Wireless for an undisclosed amount. Management and staff of Leaf own the remaining 64%. Leaf has been the technology supplier for mobile portal MTNICE since its inception and has developed several applications for it. MTN MD Sifiso Dabengwa said the move was an important factor in MTN's strategy for the future.
