Shareholders are referred to the MTN announcement of 3 April 2018 in which it was stated that MTN and Main Street 1561 (Pty) Ltd. ("Main Street 1561") (being an associate of one of the MTN directors for purposes of the JSE Ltd. Listings Requirements) had agreed to extend the completion date for the sale of 14 750 000 ordinary shares in MTN Zakhele Futhi (RF) Ltd. to Main Street 1561 (“the Transaction”). The parties have agreed not to proceed with the Transaction and MTN Group will continue to warehouse the MTN Zakhele Futhi shares. |
