M-Cell acquires remaining 23% of MTN

M-Cell has acquired the remaining 117.6m MTN shares (23%) from Transnet for R33 per share. The acquisition represents the final step in the consolidation of MTN holdings into M-Cell, and positions M-Cell and MTN to take advantage of future telecommunications opportunities in SA and the rest of Africa. M-Cell now holds 100% of MTN.
