FURTHER ISSUE OF DATATEC SHARES                                                 
In Compliance with the AIM Rules, the following information is disclosed:       
Datatec announces the allotment of 72,641 ordinary ZAR0.01 shares following the 
exercise of share options (including the share options referred to above).      
Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the admission of     
these shares to the Alternative Investment Market, and to the JSE for the       
listing of these shares.  Listing on both exchanges is expected to become       
effective as follows:                                                           
34,267 shares on 12 December 2006; and                                          
38,374 shares on 14 December 2006.
