FURTHER ISSUES OF SHARES

In compliance with the AIM Rules, Datatec announces the following:

1)  The allotment of 605,901 ordinary ZAR0.01 shares as the second of three equal annual
tranches of shares issued as part consideration for the acquisition of the Netarx business in the USA
by Logicalis which was announced on 4 July 2011. Application has been made to the London Stock
Exchange for the admission of these shares to the Alternative Investment Market, and to the JSE
Limited for the listing of these shares. Listing on both exchanges is expected to become effective on
14 December 2012.

2)  The allotment of 1,200 ordinary ZAR 0.01 shares following the exercise of share options.
Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the admission of these shares to the
Alternative Investment Market, and to the JSE Limited for the listing of these shares. Listing on both
exchanges is expected to become effective on 18 December 2012.

Following these share issues and listings, Datatec will have an issued share capital of 192,474,492
ordinary ZAR0.01 shares of which 14,274 are Treasury Shares held by the Datatec Share Incentive
Trust 2005.
