FURTHER ISSUE OF SHARES AND TRANSFER FROM TREASURY
In compliance with the AIM Rules, the following information is disclosed:
Datatec announces the allotment of 605,901 ordinary ZAR0.01 shares as the
first of three equal annual tranches of shares issued as part consideration
for the acquisition of the Netarx business in the USA by Logicalis which was
announced on 4 July 2011. Application has been made to the London Stock
Exchange for the admission of these shares to the Alternative Investment
Market, and to the JSE Limited for the listing of these shares. Listing on
both exchanges is expected to become effective on 31 January 2012.
In addition Datatec announces the transfer of 10,951 treasury shares on 27
January 2012 from the Datatec Share Incentive Trust 2005 (the "Trust") to
settle the exercise of share appreciation rights by a participant in the
Share Appreciation Rights Scheme 2005.
Following this listing and transfer from the Trust, Datatec will have an
issued share capital of 186,518,279 ordinary ZAR0.01 shares of which 173,704
are treasury shares held by the Datatec Share Incentive Trust 2005.
