shareholders are advised that the annual financial statements will be           
distributed to shareholders and published on Datatec`s website                  
(www.datatec.co.za or www.datatec-group.com) today, 13 July 2009 and contain no 
material modifications to the group audited results which were announced on 14  
May 2009.                                                                       
Notice of the annual general meeting                                            
Notice is hereby given that the annual general meeting of Datatec shareholders  
will be held at the Sandton Sun Hotel, Cnr. 5th Street and Alice Lane, Sandton, 
Johannesburg, South Africa on 12 August 2009 at 11:00 to transact the business  
as stated in the annual general meeting notice forming part of the annual       
financial statements.
