RESULTS NOTIFICATION                                                            
Datatec Limited (JSE and LSE: DTC), the international information &             
communications technology (ICT) group, will announce its interim results for    
the six months ended 31 August 2008, on Wednesday, 15 October 2008.             
The results will be published at 8.00am South African time (7.00am UK time).    
This will be followed by a presentation for analysts at 9.30am South African    
time (8.30am UK time) in Johannesburg with simultaneous webcast, conference     
call and Summit TV broadcast.
