Completion of GBP17.5 million (US$34.8 million) institutional placing
Datatec Ltd ("Datatec", the "Group", JSE and LSE: DTC), the international
Information & Communications Technology (ICT) group, announces that it has
completed the placing of 7,200,000 new ordinary shares of ZAR0.01 each (the
"Placing Shares") with institutional investors (the "Placing") at a price of 243
pence per share (ZAR 34.09), raising GBP 17.5 million (US$ 34.8 million).
